Single Use Voucher Set Up

  1. Before you start, make sure you are in an open change package and that you have all the rules you need. Go to merchandising > Promotions and click 'Add new' 
  2. Enter a store, name, description and start & end date 
  3. Choose a maximum applications and priority and where the vouchers should work
  4. Choose whether to fire any other promotions and select 'Single Use' from the voucher type drop down, and select whether the voucher is 'sticky' or not (sticky means it will remain on a customer account after their session has ended) 
  5. Enter a basket message 
  6. Click on 'Promotion Rules' tab and choose 'Basket Subtotal' in the drop down
  7. Enter a minimum basket value, disount type and discount amount
  8. Click to include conditions then click 'Add New Rule' to bring up the rule finder popup, search for the rule you need to apply to the vouchers
  9. Click 'Add' against the rule, then it will assign to the promotion.
  10. Now Save the promotion. Then click on 'Vouchers' tab 
  11. Fill out the form, you need to put a signed password, it is recommended that this is the name of the person creating the vouchers.
  12. Click 'Create Vouchers' and you will see the state go to 'Generating Vouchers'
  13. Keep refreshing the page until the state is 'Generated' then a 'get codes' button appears, which when clicked downloads a spreadsheet of the voucher codes - PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE WILL ONLY BE IN THE STAGING ENVIRONMENT 
  14. Once you have published the promotion, you need to go to the Live Telesales, find the promotion and create the vouchers there in the same way as steps 11 - 13.
