Delivery Promotions Set Up

Before you start make sure you are in an Open Change package and have set up any rules you need. Go to Merchandising > Promotions and click 'Add New'
Choose a store from the drop down, enter a name and description and choose and start & end date
Choose the amount of maximum applications to be applied in the basket, and a priority, choose where the promotion will fire.
Choose whether to allow other promotions to fire (normally yes for Free delivery promotions) and leave Voucher type as 'None', add a basket message
Click the promotion rules tab and choose 'Delivery' from the first drop down.
If applicable, add a minimum basket value and tick 'include conditions' if rules need to be applied.
If you have chosen to add rules, click 'Add new rule' and search for the rule you need on the popup
Click 'Add' next to the relevant rule
Next click on 'Delivery Discount' tab
Click 'Add new delivery discount'
Choose a service level and discount type
Enter a discount amount - if using 'Fixed Price' enter the price that the customer will pay, if it's 0.00, enter this. Then add a basket message
If you are applying the promotion to all the service levels, add new delivery discount again and fill it out for all the service levels until you are done
Once completed, save the promotion and it will be ready to publish and use.
