Using Global Protect in new Mac OS (Big Sur)
You will need to request the .pkg file in order to install the new version of Global Protect. To do this please email the Service Desk.
- Once you have the pkg file, complete the installation process, click allow when prompted.
- When Global Protect has installed, set the portal IP address to 46.227.52.84
- Log in to Global Protect as you usually would, username being first 4 last 4, the password being the same one you use to log into your computer with.
- Once this has been done navigate to the "Spotlight Search" bar, to do this press command + space
- Search "Keychain Access" and under "System Roots" search "46.227.52.84"
- Double click the IP address, a separate menu should pop up (see below)
- Under "Trust" set all of the options to "Always Trust"
- Once this has been done you should be able to connect to the VPN successfullyÂ
