Delivery Instruction Management
Before making any changes to this area you should be in an Open change package in the Staging environment
- Go to Admin > Delivery > Instructions
- This will show a list of all the instructions available
- There must be 1 default selected, this is usually the 'Leave Safe' option. The feature drop down dictate which delivery method gets selected when a customer or agent uses that delivery instruction (see the instructions on how they are defined here)
- To disable an instruction, simply untick the 'enabled' box and this will prevent that option from being selected after publishing.
- To add a new instruction, scroll to the bottom and click 'Add New Instruction'
- Enter a display name, tick the 'enabled' tick box and choose a feature from the drop down, then add a description in the first tick box (this should be kept as short as possible)
- Click 'save' and the delivery instruction you have added will appear when adding/edited an address.
- To reoganise the order in which the instructions appear in the drop down, click and drag the instruction and drop it where you want it to appear - save it and the instruction will appear in the new location on the drop down
