Managing Delivery Zones

Sometimes you may need to restrict the delivery methods shown to customers based on their postcode.


Before you start you should be in an Open change package in the Staging environment.


If you are changing the Default service level then this MUST be reflected across any Promotions that have free delivery.

  1. Go to Admin > Delivery > Zones 
  2. This shows any Zones already set up - UK Mainland does not have any postcodes defined, as all Mainland UK postcodes should use the same rules. 
  3. Click 'Add New' and you'll be shown a form to fill
  4. Enter a name for the zone and choose a default service level - note, the default service level must be a service which is available for both Telesales and Website 
  5. Then click 'Regions' 
  6. Click 'Add New Region'
  7. Choose a country from the drop down - this will normally always be United Kingdom and then enter the first part of the postcode you wish to restrict 
  8. Keep adding New Regions until all the postcode areas have been defined. 
  9. Click 'Save' then the delivery options tab will appear - to add the delivery options for that postcode area, view these instructions
