Creating Basket Sets for Subscriptions

Each event cycle for a Subscription should have it's own Basket set, a group cannot have the same basket set twice.

  1. Before you start, ensure all the cases are set up and published through to the Live Telesales environment, also make sure they are in stock so they are visible.
  2. Go to Telesales and Subscriptions - then go to the correct Subscription for the correct store. You will land on the Calendar section of the events
  3. Click on the 'Basket Sets' tab
  4. You will see a list of basket sets, click 'Add New' and a popup will appear for you to fill in
    1. Enter the name - this should relate to the cycle number, so if you are running Cycle 37 for discovery club, then the basket set should be called 'Disco 37'
    2. The dates don't relate to anything, but it is recommended that you put the start and end dates for the cycle in there
  5. Click 'Add' and the basket set will add to the list
  6. Click 'View' on the basket set you just created
  7. The Baskets are all highlighted in red because they have no contents. Click 'Edit' on one of the baskets
  8. You will land on the Telesales catalog and can see the name of the scheme you are building the basket for. Search for the Sku code of the case in the 'Search' field. Note - the case will ONLY be visible if it is in stock in the stock locations you have access to under your roles.
  9. Click 'Add to Basket' underneath the case
  10. Proceed to checkout (eg click mini-basket and choose checkout)
  11. Click 'Save and Exit' - the basket will now turn grey to indicate it contains a product. Repeat the process until all the baskets are filled.
  12. You can also add addons.  This is an optional step
    1. Once all the baskets are filled, the customer will see it in their 'next instalment'. To add an addon assortment, click 'Select Assortment'
    2. On the popup that appears, search for the product assortment that is to contain the addons for that cycle
    3. Click 'Select' and the addon assortment will appear in the basket set
  13. Next you need to assign this to an event.  Any event that has been set up without a basket set for that cycle can accept your basket.  Click 'Calendar' to show your list of events.
  14. If you don't have an event without a Basket Set, make one using add new event (detailed description here).  If you do have an event without a Basket Set (and it's the one you want to use), just click 'Edit' on that event.  Either way you'll be prompted to input the below details.  When you select Basket Set, the popup will include the Basket Set you made above.  If you want to be able to add a customer to this event so they get this shipment, you need to make the Due On date today or in the future.
  15. Click 'Save' then the basket set will be added to that event
