Creating the Subscription Events in Mantiki

It is really important that the events are set up in advance so that customers go into them correctly when their subscriptions process.

When the Subscription Processor runs for a customer and is successful, it will look for the next event a minimum of 9 weeks and maximum of 17 weeks away from that date - it does not matter what group they are in, but it will look for an email event if they are an email customer, or postal event if they are postal. If it cannot find an event around those dates, then it will automatically create one and put the customer in there.

To set up an event, follow these steps (Note, this is only for REGULAR events - for Holiday Shipment set up, click here

  1. Log into Mantiki Telesales, hover over Subscriptions and choose the relevant Store, and select the Subscription type from there
  2. You will land on the Subscriptions Calendar
  3. You will see a list of events that are set up already - if there are a lot, it is best to search for the 'Group' you need to create the event for - do this by typing the group name in the 'Group' search field.
  4. Scroll until you see the last event created for that group - you need to check the Due Date
  5. Then click 'Add New Event'
  6. This brings up a popup to fill in
  7. Select the Group
  8. Click into the 'Due On' field, this brings up a Calendar - count 10 weeks from the last event for that group, so if it was the 27th September, then the event should be created for 6th December
  9. Once the date is selected, choose a basket set - this depends on the cycle, for example if you are setting up Cycle 37, then the basket set will be called something like 'Disco 37' - if this has not yet been created, leave it blank
  10. Leave the 'minimum days since last instalment' as 63, this should only be changed for Holiday shipment runs. Click 'Save' and you will see a message advising it has been created
  11. The Subscription event is now set up
