Disconnecting & Reconnecting your connected account

Occasionally, a users email connection will stop working and emails will not go over any more. These instructions are for you to disconnect and reconnect the account (Salesforce Admins will need to do a bit for you after disconnecting) 

  1. Firstly, the affected user needs to disconnect their Einstein Email Connected account, do this by asking the user to go to their settings (click the Avatar and then 'Settings'       
            

                                                                                         

  2. Within the settings,  go down the left hand menu to ‘Connected Accounts' then click 'Email and Calendar Accounts’.                                                                                                                 
     

                                           

  3. Click 'Disconnect' on the connected account
     

  4. Click 'Disconnect' on the popup that appears                                                                                                                   
          

  5. The button will now say 'Reconnect' 

Once you have disconnected on the instruction of the Salesforce Admin, please let them know so they can do the background changes. 

Reconnecting the Account

  1. Within your settings, go back to the Connected Accounts (as per the steps above) and this time click 'Reconnect' 

  2. On the popup that appears, click the option for Office365                           
                            

  3. Pick the account or use another account
                                                                                   

  4. It will reconnect you and now show a 'disconnect' option
