Searching for a Customer

Natterbox should automatically find the customer based on their phone number in most cases, but occasionally it may not

There are a couple of ways to search for customers in Salesforce

  1. Using the Global Search Bar

    1. When you view Salesforce, you will see a search bar at the top 
    2. Here you can search for anything on Salesforce, but for now we will focus on Customer Search
    3. If you start typing a name, it will auto populate some results - this is probably not best practice as it would return many results depending on the name.
    4. If you wish to search for a postcode, type the full postcode in and either press enter, or click the 'in Accounts' option
    5. It will return a list of results that have that postcode 
    6. You can also search for email addresses in this wayÂ
