Christmas Shipment Event Set Up

Christmas shipments need to be tweaked a little more than a regular event set up, as they are outside of the normal Subscription Run Schedule. You will need to amend the minimum days since last instalment - this ensures that when the customers final regular shipment runs prior to the holiday event, they get put into the correct event for their group. 

1. Follow the steps from the 'Creating the Subscription Events in Mantiki' page up until step 7.
2. Here's where you need to think about the dates, each group should have it's own Holiday shipment event. Set the Due On to be the date that group's holiday shipment is due 
   
3. Choose the basket set, if it has not yet been created, leave it blank. Then you need to change the 'Minimum Days Since last instalment' - you need to figure out how many days it will have been after the customers previous regular event - so if this was 29th November and the Holiday event is due on 13th December, the minimum days should be changed to '14'
   
4. Click 'Save' and you will see a message advising success 
   
5. Click 'OK' and the Holiday shipment event will appear
   
6. When setting up the regular events for the first run after their holiday shipment, again you will need to work out what the minimum days since last instalment should be, as this is likely to be slightly less than the 63 days default.
