Delivery Instruction Management

Before making any changes to this area you should be in an Open change package in the Staging environment

  1. Go to Admin > Delivery > Instructions
  2. This will show a list of all the instructions available 
  3. There must be 1 default selected, this is usually the 'Leave Safe' option. The feature drop down dictate which delivery method gets selected when a customer or agent uses that delivery instruction (see the instructions on how they are defined here)
  4. To disable an instruction, simply untick the 'enabled' box and this will prevent that option from being selected after publishing. 
  5. To add a new instruction, scroll to the bottom and click 'Add New Instruction'
  6. Enter a display name, tick the 'enabled' tick box and choose a feature from the drop down, then add a description in the first tick box (this should be kept as short as possible) 
  7. Click 'save' and the delivery instruction you have added will appear when adding/edited an address. 
  8. To reoganise the order in which the instructions appear in the drop down, click and drag the instruction and drop it where you want it to appear - save it and the instruction will appear in the new location on the drop down
