Override CVV number

We now have an option to override customer CVV number when placing an order in telesales. This is role based option.

You still will need to add a CVV number when adding a new card. Worldpay holds CVV number for 5min after that you will be able to override it in telesales only. 

Step-by-step guide


  1. On Review&Confirm page under payment method, override CVV tick box will appear if customer haven't used their card successfully. 


  2. If you want to override the CVV number, tick the box. A warning message will appear 'Warning overriding CVN is not secure'


  3. Click pay and the order will be placed without the CVV number.
