In the first instance, please call 2222 if you don't have a computer to use and someone should be able to direct you to a spare. 

If there is no answer, please follow the below. Please email a member of the IT Support team if you do borrow any IT equipment. 

Desktops

In the event I am out of the office and someone needs a spare computer, these are located in the 4th floor store cupboard on the shelf near the window. Power cables are also in the same area. Do not use desktops from the bottom shelf. 

In no situation should a desktop computer be removed from someones desk, however there are no issues using someone else's computer at their desk if they are away. 

Please ensure you shut down the computer once you are done using it and that you don't unplug anything already on the desk. 

Laptops

There should be a spare laptop on the end of the desk in IT, this is labelled Spare and has a USB network adapter with it. 

If this is in use, there are older spares in the 4th floor store room with the computers. 

Alternatively, if someone is away and has left their laptop in the office then feel free to make use of it. 

Please ensure you shut down once done with these and put them back where you found them.
