Printer Troubleshoot - Adding printers in Windows 10 / Drivers

If printer does not show up through global policy, download the correct driver through Sharp website: Driver Downloads - Search drivers - | Sharp Digital MFPs / Printers (global.sharp)

  • MX-2610N is the 3rd Floor printer and MX-M453N is the 4th floor printer 
  • Follow the Setup Wizard and install the driver.





The below method is not functioning at the moment and it would be worth to look into it for future fixes

Your printers should automatically map themselves through global policy. If they do not appear, please let IT know and somebody will take a look. 

In the meantime, if you need to add the printer manually still:

  • Open File Explorer Ctrl + E
  • Copy and paste (or type) \\vwnordc01\ into the bar in file explorer and press enter. You will see the below. 

  • Double click on the printer you want to use. MX-2610N is the 3rd Floor printer and MX-M453N is the 4th floor printer 
  • After double clicking the printer should install itself. If it doesn't please contact IT.Â
