This is the OLD way of creating a corporate customer when Salesforce is not enabled, to create a correctly formatted Corporate Customer using Salesforce, click HEREplease go to the Salesforce Guides

  1. Log into Telesales and go to CRM > Customers then click 'Add New'
  2. Fill out the Client Details - if you are not using the clients email address, then ensure the email ends with @corpvirginwines.co.uk
  3. You do not need to tick 'Can Pay on Account' - Finance can set this up after they have approved a credit limit. Click 'Save' and the account will be created.
  4. When on the customer account, scroll down and click into 'Attributes'
  5. Scroll down to the 'Corporate Customer' attribute and tick it then click 'Save' - This attribute makes sure that all the orders go across to the warehouse with the correct order type and will ensure that reporting is accurate.
  6. If it has been pre-agreed that a client's orders have a different order type, then this also needs adding to the Attributes - simply type them in with the agreed codes (You will need agreement from Tim Pedder) and click 'save' then the warehouse will receive the orders correctly for that client.
  7. If you need to assign the client to a particular agent (so their orders are tracked for that corporate agent) then under 'Attributes' select the relevant option next to the 'Corporate Agent' attribute and save
